Grooming
Grooming is an important part of dog care. Regular grooming helps to ensure the dog is healthy and comfortable. It is important to note, while many dogs shed, others such as the Poodle, do not shed. Instead, their coat grows much like human hair, and requires trimming.We Currently have 3 groomer's working with over 39 years combined experience.
The main reasons for grooming include:
~ improved health of the skin and coat, allowing the groomer to look for cuts, hot spots, swelling or
ticks
~ decreases the chance of various health problems such as thrush and other skin problems
~ allows the groomer to check changes in temperament which could indicate the dog is sick
~ cleans the dog
